Judy became a licensed Real Estate agent in 1992. She was with Coldwell Banker and was inducted into the Coldwell Banker Diamond Society for production in 2000.

She served 20 years as a trustee of the Flint River Technical College Foundation and also a director of the Board of Director for 10 years, She is a member of the Thomaston/Upson Humane Society, Historical Society and a past member of the Rotary club. She is also a member of the Moonflower Garden Club and the First Baptist Church of Barnesville.
